Pole Dance Fitness: How to get started! NOTE: Due to heavy call volume regarding interest and general questions on our Pole Dance Fitness Program, we have put together this comprehensive guide to help you get an idea of how to get started. Please read this guide BEFORE calling us. Thank you for your cooperation! Please bear in mind that we do not sell individual pole classes to non-students. Therefore, the following steps will address many commonly asked questions and help to explain our intro program/trial period. All new students purchase a Starter Punch Card (fee: $150) which includes 1 Orientation, 4 Pole Foundations, and 1 Pole Fit Class. Starter Punch Card must be completed within 6 weeks. Step 1: Complete one Pole Orientation Class (check online schedule for next available class and call us to register with payment by phone only.) Orientation Class is a combination of Lecture and Practical. Duration: 60 min - Lecture covers basic knowledge of the safety and teaching method used - Practical teaches new students basic choreographed routine on the pole (no spins) Step 2: Complete four Pole Foundation Classes (staff will help guide you in this process). Pole Foundation Class teaches students basic pole spins. Duration: 45 min - There are four Foundations (spins) and each class covers one spin with beginner, intermediate, and advance variations using the Building Block Method (layers) of teaching a trick or a spin. Step 3: Complete one Pole Fit Class (sign up, once all other prerequisites are completed). Pole Fit Class is a choreographed fitness class that showcases spins, transitions & filler. Duration: 45 min - This is the last class in the series of the six class trial period and allows for easy transition to our Regular Pole Dance Fitness Program. - This is an appropriate time to consider joining our regular program. Our staff will discuss the affordable options with you at this time. REMEMBER: All new students purchase a Starter Punch Card. $150 which includes 1 Orientation, 4 Pole Foundations, and 1 Pole Fit Class. Starter Punch Card must be completed within 6 weeks. Required Attire: Workout clothes. Recommended: Yoga Pants, T-Shirt or Tank top (No Shorts. No Skirts.) Required Footwear: Stripper Shoes (6” heels with 2” platform). NOT REQUIRED FOR ORIENTATION! *DO NOT PURCHASE SHOES BEFORE ORIENTATION CLASS! We discuss where to purchase and what is approved for class during Orientation Lecture as well as the functionality and benefits of wearing this type of footwear during this workout. Q: What happens after I complete my Starter Punch Card? A: You can purchase a Monthly Pass for $100. This pass is good for the current calendar month in which you purchase it only. The pass will give you 5 classes to take before the month is up. You may purchase an additional pass if needed. New month: New card. No rollovers. Passes may not be shared. You are allowed to use the pass for whichever classes you are eligible for only (see instructor). Q: What if I want to take more than one class per week? A: You have come to the right place and your enthusiasm and commitment will pay off. Once a student is prepared to commit to more than one class per week, we reward them by offering a budget friendly membership program. Not all students are eligible.
